Hanna Jasmine now just loves food. So far she hasn't refused anything and keeps on opening her mouth wide everytime we give her anything.

This spaghetti is so cool abah, I can squish it and eat it at the same time!!! hahaha :D

A visit to uncle barber

Reyza is now 3 and a half years old and only until recently he visited uncle barber for his first ever "PROPER" haircut. Now proper here means no crying, squirming or shouting. The last visit must have been about 2 years ago, he was sooo scared and he ended up getting an army style no.1 bald style. Click here!

This time it was Reyza that told me "Abah, Reyza nak potong rambut..." and I said Ok lets go. (I needed to get one myself anyway).

To abah's delight everything went well. Reyza sat down and let uncle barber work on his head. Abah is so glad that Reyza has gotten over his fear of uncle barber :)

One at a time, you'll face your fears. And Abah will be right beside you, as long as he could...

Hanna Jasmine is going to be 1 years old soon, abah and mama are always amazed at how fast you are growing up, from crawling to walking, from just simply grabbing stuff to bullying your brother. Ever since hanna started fully walking (about a month ago) abah has been on his toes chasing you around. Seems like hanna has a liking towards the kitchen...

Marble madness...

Hmmm last saturday was a day of new toys, Abah & Mama bought Reyza a Junior Marble Race set after looking at Reyza watching this toy on Youtube videos.

Its just nice and you can assemble the rails in any design and be creative. This toy is also good for Hanna Jasmine coz the marbles are big so theres no danger from choking or swallowing it.

Even adults can join in on the fun as the outcome of the race is really unpredictable. Even if the red marble starts goes down the first hole the green and blue marbles can overtake on the other platforms. Care to make a wager to make things interesting heheheh?

Anyways, this is a great toy for the whole family.

Time really flies Reyza and sooner than we know it, you are now going to be 3 years old. Abah was really scratching his head on what to get you for your birthday present. God knows how much toys you already have (and the toys that you will have thanx to abah hehe). From cars and trucks to Lego's and to r collection of thomas the tank engine trains and tracks.

Every once in a while Reyza will always pull his abah and a say "abah jom ahhh naik Slide!!!" and sometimes Reyza also enjoys shooting hoops at the neighbourhood family video arcade. So abah and mama thought, why not a bit of both!!!

Perhaps we are the last people on earth to hear about Papa Johns. Our niece and nephew who lives in Dubai, came back for the holidays not too long ago. Back here they kept saying 'papa johns','papa johns'. They said P.J's have the best pizza ever and to them "pi.zza h.ut, d.om.inos who?"

SIL wanted to treat us lunch last week and hubbs suggested to explore this papa johns once and for all.

Theme Park Visit - First Day Lunar Year

I’m sure everyone had a fulfilling long stretch holiday! Hubby and me did not plan to travel out this holiday (we’ve already got travel plans in May) , so we decided to spent first day of lunar year @ B.T.S. Where else if not at their indoor theme park!

There’s an old entry of our first time here with Reyza. He was 9 months back then, and surprisingly we also went during the lunar festive holiday too.! This time around of course we brought along our precious 3 months old daughter.

The person who enjoyed the most is probably the lil boy! He was jumping around like an excited kid (offcourse he is a kid!). He got to play everything in the kids theme park area with no restriction.

Mama this time around had to sit out from the roller coaster ride.(Abah owes mama a rollercoaster ride!)

We enjoyed ourselves to the max! Hopefully we could come again another 2 years.

A rainy day, lets go on a train ride!

It was a nice weather to take Reyza on a train ride. This would be his 1st train ride during the day.

Reyza was already up and eating his breakfast. "Reyza ,Jom naik train." It literally lit up his eyes in excitement! "Jom naik train, Jom naik train", Reyza echoed.

And so we headed off to Ke.lana Jaya Station. Running about and jumping around that's what kids are all about. Its tired to chase him all around, but its worth the run to see him smiling happily.

Kids ride for free till 6 years old ! Savings for Mama & Abah - A trip to K.LCC cost RM2.40 per trip x 2 x 2 adults(Save petrol, time to search for car park & reduce carbon monoxide!). Surprisingly, not alot of people using the LRT at that time..

To be honest, Mama and Abah were a bit worried on how Reyza would react to the arrival of his sister Hanna. Mama would always remind abah to be fair and even. Having a little baby sister means that some of the attention has to be split evenly.

Its nearing a month since Hanna was born and we are quite amazed at how Reyza is handling it. Of course some perks and comforts of being the only kid in the house (minus abah) has to be sacrificed, for instance Reyza now has to sleep with abah in the second class section of the bed hehehe.

Reyza knows full well that he has a sister now and calls here "adik". Although you have to admit that you sometimes can see the attention seeking acts and "perangai" that Reyza does, sometimes its quite funny. All in all Reyza has been a good kid through out the process. No signs of jealousy or spite towards her sister.

Mama and abah hopes that it would always stay this way coz you will always be a big brother to your sister Hanna (and god willing more siblings). Love her and always take good care of her.

Sometimes when abah comes home from work he would take me to the playground. My favorite part of the playground is the swings. I would shout to abah, " aik uwai!! aik uwai!!!" (what i meant to say was naik buai)

Soon when it starts to get dark abah would say "jom balik, dah nak gelap dah ni" and I would walk with abah home.

I'm thrilled that now I can ride the "big boys" swing and not the baby swings hehehe

Selamat Hari Raya, Aki, Tok Dy, Nani, Tok My!
2010 Hari Raya started off from our new home. We moved in Last July in time for celebrating Puasa & Hari Raya at the new pad. That morning we 'Men' looked dashing in our pucuk pisang color theme Baju Melayu. (Thanks Mama).

Its Reyza's first time to wear a Baju Melayu complete with the 'sampin'. He wasn't keen wearing it at first (the sampin). He cried and said 'tak nak' , 'tak nak'. Kinda complicated, perhaps he thought that 'sampin' is a skirt and skirts are for gurls. (Thats my boy!)

Wifey had to bring him to see me in order to show Reyza that 'Real' Men wear 'sampin'. After a few rounds of explaining..our kid finally understood. Smart boy....

I guess Hari Raya now days are more for the kids. Seeing, Reyza running gleefully and its a joy for us to see his eyes lit up with happiness in the morning of Hari Raya .Just look at Reyza's poses. Cheeky . Cute. Geram!

The morning start off, by visiting Tok dy & Tok My. All my wifey's siblings are here this year, so it was a great opportunity for us as seldom that we get to gather everyone for Hari Raya.

Both of us took leave the eve of Hari Raya, offcourse Reyza is happy that both of his parents are home. We decided that will have Ketupat, Ketupat Pulut, Rendang Ayam & Gulai Ayam on Raya Day. I didnt want to over exert myself as am currently 7 and half months preggie. The assistant helped alot.!

The assistant is an expert of Ketupat making and offcourse we are happy that she wants to make them for Raya day. She could finish weaving these in 4 hours or so for 90pcs of Ketupats.Hebat!

Last Sunday, me Abah n Mama went to Myreen's house coz it was her Birthday!!! Boy do I love parties.. there cake, ballons, candy, and.. err cake...:P
Myreen turned 1 years old and boy did she looked excited. All of my other uncles and aunties were there too.

On this day Reyza is now 2 Years old, He is now a toddler which means, he can now speak words (in his own german-iban slang), he now also chooses to jump rather than just run, also he is no longer an infant so has to pay full price for air asia flight tickets...

Reyza's Trip to The Clouds

Last Saturday was a busy day for us, Mama was busy packing food for us. Where were we goin? Up to Gen.ting High.lands!

Hei wait, where is Gen.ting High.lands? Guugel it and you are sure to find out where it is! We left home by 11ish a.m. We took the du.ke highway as we expect the Thai.pusam crowd was still lingering at Bat.u Cav.es.

It was first time for Abah to drive up to Gen.ting High.lands all by himself. The last time he was there was 2o years ago and he was only 10. As mama reassured him, the roads are better now and we could just follow the road signs. We arrived at Gen.ting High.lands safely by 1215pm. Its an hours drive from home. We were among the clouds! Yippie!!

We stayed at Firs.tWorl.d Ho.tel. We stayed there for 1 night only but it was more than enough for us to take a break from our busy schedule (i'm only 2, but yes im busy!).

Mama and abah treated me to the indoor and outdoor themepark. I had a blast!

Reyza was admitted morning of Jan 13 , Wednesday. I got the news when I was at work. My heart dropped when hubby sent the sms, that he had to be admitted.

He got slight fever on Saturday morning. Brought him to the same hospital got his meds and tried to give it to him. However, he has some phobia with his meds now days. Especially when he is coughing, he would throw up all his meds. On Sunday his temperature looks okay. Monday came, his temperature felt fine in the morning but by night time it when up high. Tuesday, was worst. He didnt eat a single thing. Not even drinking milk. I guess by Wednesday he was too tired and had no energy.

We were glad that during his stay, he was a good boy. Despite he hates the fact that he needs to be poke with needles to wear the I.V drip . He was still a happy boy. He quickly makes the hospital as if it was his own home.

His daily routine in the hospital would be, once he wakes up – breakfast is served. After that, he goes out and plays at the play room. By noon, lunch is served, which later he than takes a second nap. He wakes up again and he continues to play in the play room. Than Dinner is served, play again in the play room and than go to sleep.

This routine continued for the next 5 days. How could he not be happy? Play, Eat, Sleep.

I trust everything that has happened to our family is a test from the All Mighty.

Anyhow, we are glad to have him back. He is THE sunshine of the house.

Reyza is now, 1 year and 8 months. He will turn 2 in 4 months. Thats not too long. But what I am more intrigue now is how Reyza is developing his character day by day. So endearing, cute and sometimes make me 'geram' that I can't scold him (maybe not yet). He knows I can't scold him. He knows my weakness, his smile.

He loves to watch upin & ipin, 'fakes' a cry, demand to play with 'steerring' wheels and if he doesnt get to play with it he will give a long face with pouty lips. Seriously he will. He will sit quietly and look outside the car window. He will stay that way until I let him play at it. Only than he will giggle, chuckle and smile with happiness.

If he wants to go out, he would pull me to the door and show me the door knob. Than he would go to the shoe rack and point to his shoe. Basically, he will pull us everywhere. (Quite tiring). He also has develop a 'drama' cry. He would close his face with both of his hands and cry. (or sounding like a cry). If he gets what he wants he would stop.

Perhaps when he turns 2 y.o, than the discipline will start to kick in. . I hope it wont be too late to discipline him by than.Now, we just want to enjoy his funny character , his giggles and fun side of Reyza. He has his fathers charm. That what makes me 'cair' more............

One fine day Abah and mama decided to bring you the Petronas Twin Towers Skybridge!!!

A very very big thank you to Mama for obtaining the tickets who went very early in the morning just to get the tickets for all of us. THANK YOU MAMA!!!

For all of you readers who wish to bring their children and family here are some tips :

1) The elevator ride up to the skybridge is free! (but there is a catch)
2) The catch - only 1000 tickets are issued daily
3) Ticket counters open as early as 8am (een at 8am theres a loonngg Q)
4) First lift is at 9am and the last lift is at 6.45 pm (intervals if 15 minutes)
5) There will be a 7 minute show (a very long petronas advertisment) before you go up
6) Suggest a small child to eat some candy or drink his milk on the way up (reduction in pressure)

I think the best time to go up the skybridge would either early morning or very late in the evening. Noon might be too bright. I prefer evening coz its not to bright and if you are lucky you might get some nice skylights.

We got the 6.15 pm and spent some time at the visitor lounge. Like I mentioned before visitors a forced to watch a 7 minute commercial tell us how great Petronas is...its in 3D by the way. Reyza enjoyed it for a bit (watching the helicopter) and then was more interested in removing Mama and Abahs 3D glasses.

Once we got up on the bridge, we were given 10 minutes to rome, view and take pictures. Reyza enjoyed the view and we took some pictures.

The other day reyza had his very first motorbike ride with abah. Thanx to uncle Apis who let abah tak his modenas 125 out for a spin in gombak. At first abah took Reyza who sat on Mama's lap on the back seat.

After Abah was confident enough, Abah let Reyza sit right in front. With his legs snug in the basket and holding on the the handle bars, Reyza was so excited. Off we went riding around gombak zooming past people and just the wind in our faces. Woo Hoo what a ride.

Well... perhaps one day Abah will tell of the time when he had his big red bike and rode all around Klang Valley bringing your mum around. Abah sold off the bike in order to make preparations to welcome his first born son...but thats...another story.

Reyza visited his Pead doctor today. He was already 1 month overdue for his Pneumococcal shots. Since he's already 19months , the doc gave him his Double Antigen (Diphtheria & Tetanus) + Polio - 1st Booster as well.

The last time we visited DSH was in April. But Reyza seems to know where to run too. He actually ran till he found the Dr.'s office. Smart boy.

However, once he's name was called he was busy checking out the Doc's room. Sibuk betul, ke hulu - ke hilir. But once I kinda tried to pull down his pants he screamed! Even drop himself to the floor. OMG. He remembered already why he's there. Melalak-lalak budak tuh. After the shots, he wailed a lil bit, than fell asleep.

*Sigh* Thank god the next shot will only be when he turn 7 years old. Bye bye doctor!! See youuuu...

It was a fine after noon and Abah decided, "Lets go to the park". Off we went all four of us, Abah, Mama, Kak Rina and Me. Abah said the place was called "Lake Gardens"

When we got there, My eyes were locked at only one thing, That HUGE Playground with all those slides, some long ones, some short ones and even tunnels slides!!! Yayyyy!!! The playground was sooo big that it looked like a fort or a castle!

There were lots of people so I had to watch where I was running. Abah and mama took their cameras with them so everytime I came down from a slide, I made sure that I didnt forget to give a pose heheheeee. :D

Reyza Khan

One Happy Sundae Morning

Its been ages, since we brought Reyza down to the Condo's swimming pool. So on Saturday, I told hubby, by hook or by crook, he needs to bring our son to the pool for some fun time. So early Sunday morning, I was already excited to start of the day that I woke up at 6.30am. Bolehs?

By 7.45am I was anxious to go down to the pool already (siapa excited sini, Reyza or mama dia?). Anyhow, the reason that we MUST bring Reyza is because, kinda felt kesian that for the past 4 weeks we were busy with me in and out the hospital and all. And Reyza has been eyeing the swimming pool for ages. We haven't brought him back to the pool ever since he started to learn how to walk and run.

By 8.20am, 3 of us were at the pool. And true enuff, Reyza had the time of his life. Squealing gleefully and happy. I love hearing him laughing out loud.He could now stand at the kiddy pool and the water reaches his neck. OMG, he's so tall already! (sob sob sob, growing up so fast). Don't grow up too fast son........

October - Month of hospital wards and surgery.

I have been warded 3 times and finally went for Laparoscopic-Cholecystectomy surgery on October 30th. Its a surgery of removing the gallbladder. Its one of the reasons why this blog has been pretty quiet. We've been busy doing researches and reading on gallbladder when finally, hubbs and me decided that I needed the surgery in the end. Masuk - keluar hospital for the past 3 weeks is quite tiring for the family.

The second time I was warded, doc informed that it had turned into gallbladder disease which includes inflammation, infection, stones, or blockage (obstruction) of the gallbladder.1. It means I am having frequent inflammation of the gallbladder which may cause from the gallstones.

Everytime I ate wrongly (too much fat, cholesterol, oil) the stones might block the passage and causes me to feel the pain that is soooo sakit tak terkata and I feel like ripping out something from the inside.

I had to go for bland diet, low cholesterol, low fat. No life. *sigh*.

1st Admission - 10/10/2009 (Midnite) - Discharged 12/10/2009. TMC. Room 522
2nd Admission - 20/10/2009 (Afternoon) - Discharged 22/10/2009. TMC. Room 520
3rd Admission - 24/10/2009 (Night) - Discharged 26/10/2009. DSH. Room 412

I admitted myself at Tro.picana Med.ical Cen.tre. at 1030am. on Friday .They took blood samples twice because the 1st blood sample had some abnormality in it. Thankfully, the results came out normal.

The culprits. So many many stones!

Wheeled into the O.T @ 1530hrs and by 1600hrs was in OT2. Anesthetic Doc put in the wrist needle thingy and she told me I would get dizzy a bit. They put the mask on and I was out in 30 seconds or less. Didn't remember a thing.

After that I heard someone called out my name and they wheeled me out of the OT. I remembered that I saw my hubby in his red t-shirt. Kinda relief that he was the first person by myside when I was out. I was back in the room. I heard my parents , brothers and SIL voices. I cant seem to open my eyes, but I can hear them clearly.

After goin tru all this I pray to God hoping this is it. Exception for goin for labour, I do not want to be admitted to hospital ever again. Being in the hospital, makes me feel misreable.

But I am thankful that I have wonderful family to ensure everything still runs smoothly. Im also thankful of having friends visiting me that night itself. Thanks guys for taking care of hubby for me :).

So, that's Reyza's Crazy Family life for October month. :)

Oh yea, I got discharged the next day and spend the whole week at home recuperating.

Its an experience that the whole family will never be forget.

This is Reyza's Second Hari Raya...you have grown up so much since the last one. Now Reyza can walk and play and be mischievous. Although Proper training has been administered prior to Hari Raya Such as :

1) Not touching anything that is not his toy
2) Wearing a songkok for extended durations (still needs more training)
3) Salam!!! and Cium Tangan elders (essential for Duit Raya hahaha)

Friday Night Date

Friday night, started out with us hanging out @ .........

Reyza had the time of his life, running around and about in KLCC. We we're so exhausted trying to catch Reyza from either, not jumping into the park's pond to running up or down the escalator by himself. Seriously it was fun watching and playing catch with Reyza. Look at the picture of him running by his abah's side.

He met his sesame street buddies, bert & ernie. Took their car for a drive and bid thank you with a kiss. Hoping to see them again, next time.

"What makes this particular toy train so special abah?" its red and blue, has big wheels on the back and does not move very fast..."

Abah said.. "well this toy was one of the first toys that abah got from your grandpa Aki when abah was your age!!! thats right, almost 30 years ago!!! Aki taught abah to take good care of my toys and this train has lasted a full generation until now, you can play with it... :D"

It was quite sometime ago, hubbs and me wondered when we should start to teach Reyza to brush his teeth. His teeth only started to sprout when he was 9 months and at 14 months he has 4 upper front teeth, 3 lower front teeth & 1 lower premolars on the right. We often ask ourselves, how he's gonna spit the toothpaste out!. (hehehehehe).

After reading , her blog and believe in her success. I bought the stuffs she reviewed while I was at O.U last night. As we are very busy and sometimes don't even have the time to shop our own toiletteries stuff. I was determined to buy the toothbrush and toothpaste so I can start the learning process with Reyza as soon as possible.

Luckily , I brought hubby along as at (or most) times I'm fickled minded. What color of the toothbrush lah, what flavour toothpaste lah. I don't know how to choose (That's why I'm thankful with parents reviews on products! )

However, while I was asking hubbs what flavour toothpaste I should get. He gave me 'the' look and stare. He ask me , "why are you buying this product?". Hehehe.. I think he was skeptical about the packaging. So, I had to explained to him why I'm buying it, regardless if he felt the packaging does not give him any confidence in it.

After we came home last night, I was excited to show Reyza, his toothbrush and let him try it. The results? Let the pictures tell....

I betcha, you guys are laffing at the last 2 pics. Anyhows, we'll see Reyza's brushing techniques later. Until then...... Happy weekends everyone!

Hi, everyone! Eversince, I was able to walk independently I have given my parents a run for their lives! I'm getting adjusted to this walking thing. I think its great that I am able to get from point A to point B in 2 seconds!! :) . I don't think my parents are enjoying the running around, but I think excersize is good for them. Reyza's Red Carpet Entrance

Sorry for the lacked of update. We've been too engrossed with Reyza's latest milestone, his been in cruising mode since last week.

Eversince than, every morning we put on his shoes (usually,we just scoop him up) and Reyza would than walk out from the house and into the lift (off course not by himself). In the lift, he would walk back and forth as if he was the ball in the pinball machine. Pening! Once he got out from the lift, Reyza would walk steadily and attract passerby with his cute'sy walk style and smiling away. That's his new routine.

And last Sunday, the 4 of us attended the wedding of my 1st cousin from my father's side. Reyza made his red carpet entrance to the wedding. Everyone, was asking where is the baby.I said "What baby, anak bujang dah besar panjang dah. Tengah berjalan situuuu" I pointed out.

Rasa sebak juga as I see him walking and trying to understand whats going on. He's growing up so fast. He was so curious with his surrounding as this is considered his first extended family gathering . Just check him out..

Finally, Reyza is Botak! Oh gawd. Now I know, why mothers kept their son's hair long. At first he was, fine playing with my handphone, while the barber does his thang. When he realised what's going on, he screamed and wailed and cried. Gosh. It was heartbreaking to hear him. I had to stay strong. But at least.... he still looks cute.

Since, we didn't know what to do during the long weekend.We brought Reyza out to his first picnic @ Taman Botani last Saturday. It was a good time for the family to enjoy the outdoor a lil bit. Surprise to say, it was such a breezy evening at the park as opposed to the hot and humid weather for the past few weeks.

It was a nice and cozy afternoon spent together. A quality time I'm looking forward to do again.

As a working mom, I do missed a lot of Reyza's 1st time acts. Even, hubbs understand my sadness in this. I wish I could be there at all of his 1st but lets put that aside for now...

Reyza has started walking in the early weeks of his birthday week. It was quite an achievement for him to do so. Alhamdulillah. It was quite an exciting thing for me to see in front of my own eyes.

BBQ Birthday Party

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The party went well, even though there was some minor glitch over my last minute birthday party plan. It was still a good party. Plus, I married the best BBQ chef ever! He made sure the food production went out smoothly (offcourse with a well prepared food stock by the wifey).

Overall, I'm glad that I decided to host this party for Reyza. I think if I missed this 1 year mark, I would regret it terribly. Probably, because I wont be able to capture that special moment of his life. Even though, Reyza doesn't understand whats going on, at least he has some really cute pictures to show off to his future wife.

Hope to host more birthday parties for you son. We Love You.

The Prequel...

I remember that afternoon quite vaguely...

One thing that I surely could remember was that I was slowly embracing the fact that I was going to be a father...well of course I knew that I was "Going" to be a father... I was constantly reminded but looking at your mother changing, day by day, glowing ever so radiantly...

But it wasn't until that fine afternoon...The feeling of becoming a father truly...truly sunk in...That was the time i heard... you first heartbeat...beating tremendously fast at a hundred and fourty five beats per minute..."WOW"... I thought to myself, "thats even faster than my own...

at the time...You didnt even have a name yet...well we still didnt know if you were going to be a prince.. or princess

But 3 months later...Your abah came out of the clinic room with all smiles.. from ear to ear. :D why? coz you gave us a peek and let us know that you were our PRINCE!!! I have to admit I really was happy... well to qoute mr Will Smith... I have "a little me just like me..." Even from the Ultrasound images I could tell that you were gonna be one handsome and cute little boy.. :D (bias la abah ni...)

And that, was just the beginning of many wonderful things to come....

Mom(my) of the Year Award

Thank you rOse . Our first award for this humble blog of ours. Even though its a Mom of the Year Award, I would like to share it with my Hubby.

Anyhow, I would answer this through my mommy experience.

1. Admit one thing you feel awful about (involving being a mom). Once you have written it down, you are no longer allowed to feel bad. Remember you are a good mom!
I was'nt into BF that much. The first time, I had to do it I felt depressed and couldn't understand why it was easy for other first timer moms to do it and not me. Not only that, Reyza depends very much on BF at night to go to sleep. (he stil does the same till now). But, now I preach about it. Even though I don't BF Reyza exclusively but being able to BF him gives me the exclusiveness to do so. I felt very attach to Reyza because of the 'us' time. If, I could turn back the time I would make myself read up on BF. I very much still surf around about BF now, maybe for the next one. (trial n error?)

2. List 7 things you love about your kids, you love doing with your kids, or that your kids love about you.
i. Sleeping with Reyza
ii. Bathing Reyza in his Rubber Duckey tub
iii. Rolling on the bed with Reyza and Abah
iv. Seeing Reyza smiling and screaming when he see's me
v. Reyza showing his cheeky'ness as he knows that he is damn cute doing it
vi. Love staying at home watching Reyza sleep and play
vii. Love that our family unit is complete and is hoping to have more additions (soon?)

Havoc!!

My gurl pal Rania, came by with her parents to see me last Tuesday night. I was taking a nap, when they came by. Off course, me being a light sleeper, open my eyes as my ears hear extra voices in the house.

I haven't seen her since Auntie Ijan's birthday. Both of us, have grown so big. We are going to turn 1 year old next month.

I'm so excited for Us!! We are going to have another great year ahead arn't we Rania.? Being mischievous lil cute kids that we are. We are going to turn our parents hair white soon.

We played the whole 1 hour until I got sleepy and excuse myself to bed with my mama.

Our baby boy turns 11 months today. 1 more month to go. All of us are praying he would reach the ultimate milestone by next month (no pressure there Reyza, mama n abah love you).

He is getting to hard to handle (lasak) nowdays and developing very cute personality. (possesive?). Reyza, what you have done for the past 5 months?

Loving his Rusk biscuits to bits
Said mamamama finally at 8 months (always been abababababa, dadadada,)
Sweet talking with his cute smile (from baby gurls to aweks all cair)
First tooth sprouts at 9 months and by 11 months you have 2 gigi kapak, 2 gigi bawah
Very tamak in terms of toys, if we're holding one toy and he has already have one toy in his hand, he demands the one we are holding too
He knows what he owns. If he puts down his teether and he plays another toy, and we take his teether away and play with it, he will take the teether from us and put it aside (its mine, dont play with it dad!)
Loves the steering wheel. Now days, he demands the real ones!
Pulling himself up at 10 months (he's been a very 'semangat' baby)
Loves to walk (with support offcourse)
Eats Aiskrim potong , Durian flavour.

Well we also remember some scary stuff and it was our first time handling it as parents

You got allergies (ur hands and feet , bloated) because mama ate jamu pills for 1 day, we were so scared we sent you to DSH and u were admitted (you were only 1 month old)
You vomit on mama right after you woke up from your night sleep
You vomit 5 times in 1 hour
You vomit on mama at the clinic, and mama had to wash her t-shirt and wear it back (take note, always bring an extra shirt for ourselves if your kid is sick)

You're growing up so fast, very cheeky and smart. We both love you to bits. Everybody loves you. Happy 11months Reyza!!

I know I know, some of you guys might be thinking (shouldn't reyza be in a baby car seat?) well we did get him a car seat and he does utilize it but its strapped to his mum's car so no car seat today.(Reyza was supervised by Kak Rina seating next to him) Today Reyza rides like a big boss man hahaha (at least he is buckled up haha)

Reyza : hmmm...this sure is nice big car....I wish this was abah's car....

When I came home........

Behold...

Finally, hubbs installed the baby gate in our kitchen. It has been good solid 4 months trying to manouver in the kitchen away from Reyza. He is free to roam the house, however he tends to bang us and scrapped our heels with his walker. Since, its quite hazardous for a baby to be in the kitchen when we are cooking. (with all the oil spilling,knives,drawers,etc.). So better be safe than sorry.

It took us sometime actually to find the gate, probably we were seeking a very very cheap gate as what we browse at most of the baby store is way above our budget. We felt the gate shouldnt have to be too pricey or fancy as the main objective is to keep Reyza out. Has anyone bought a baby gate before? Do share your price here.

Back to Reyza, I dont think he was too happy about it. Currently, he is trying to figure a way to get inside the kitchen. Well Reyza, untill that day comes, you play out of the kitchen.

Its a lazy Sunday afternoon and I have been craving for hotcakes since last week. But, where to find a simple yet yummy recipe which has been tried and tested? Obviously, I remember the post from Foxy. (thanx for sharing,grrl)

Since, our live-in assistant came in last week, I think hubbs and me have gained 5kilo's. We've been eating home cook food all week.

And I, have been in the house for this whole week since CNY . Got a lot of things on my mind lately, so I thought of taking a break as well of just be at home with Reyza since my in-laws are still away.

I dont think I fancy calling her the maid. She's more like an assistant. She helps us keep the house tidy, entertain Reyza and cook while both of us are away and working our a.s.s off in the office. Overall, we both fancy her and feel very dimanjakan.

Since, the time the assistant found my cookbook she has tried several recipe's printed in there, more than I did. But, my hubbs have said to me before, "You need to have passion to cook." I guess, I dont have the passion yet. But I do have the interest to cook, because I dream of cooking for my family a good wholesome meal, sitting together, eating and chatting away. And with the assistant here, I think I will have time to dabble into some cooking stuff soon.

But for now, we both are enjoying her trial and error cookings and today's menu was Lemon Chicken and it was Superb!! (I was proud of myself for getting the right ingredient for her as well - nak pujian jugak).

Immigration - Day 2

We're back from Immigration in S.A. Almost finish with the passport processing, just left the picking up the passport part. Since hubbs needs to go work and I got some other engagement in the afternoon. We decided to pickup the passport tomorrow.

We went Immigration yesterday, however it was jam pack with people. I was not ready mentally & 'form' submission'ning. I like to have everything ready before hand. Even the KIPPAS (Kiosk Pembaharuan Passport) queue was long. So, I decided to pick up the forms instead and also the maids Fomema form.

Submitted everything today. Almost done. Almost......

Second Day - Lunar Year

It was a long & slow weekend. We didnt do or even plan much for this holiday. Thus, we thot of not wasting this last holiday for the January month. Hubby, suggested for us to visit the in-door theme park @ berjay.a t.imes segiempat yesterday.

The last time I entered this theme park when it was newly-open and I was young, single and adventurous. 5 years fast forward, Im entering the theme park again feeling ~~old~~ still young with my hubby, son & maid (yup! maid arrived last wednesday!! alhamdulillah)

It was quite a different feeling actually, we are there for Reyza's entertainment sake. However, he didnt feel that excited. Perhaps, even Reyza thinks the rides for kids are lame.. (i wana go on rollercoaster ride , mama - Reyza) , but overall its still a relaxing hang-out. Reyza loves the Craz.y Bus ride, since he was able to see the theme at a higher view. I think this boy loves the feeling being up in the sky (perhaps)

We, couldnt enjoy all the rides because we were on time constraint, but still me & hubbs enjoyed our ONE and only adrenalin pumping -rollercoaster ride. At least I know, I still got the guts to go on roller coaster. The screaming and laffing my guts out on that rollercoaster, aaah how i miss the ~~old~~ younger days..

Oh, if you wana check the theme park out. Adults tickets are @ RM 37.00 for weekends / public holidays. Babies go in free (Sorry I dont know the age limit -my hubby check-outs the rates). Its cheaper on weekdays. Plus, we got a 15% discount using J-Card. Boleylatuhh.

Penang Day 1 - Morning

The family had to wake up as early as 3:30 am to get ready ourselves for the trip. It was a last minute trip planned by my MIL. Thanx to her (and hubbs too!!), dapatlah saya & reyza merasa cuti-cuti malaysia for the ending year of 2008.

Poor Reyza, as he was terpinga-pinga when I just open his pyjama and changed him into T-shirt & jeans. Lucky he was not cranky as he usually will cry if he is woken up by forced. I was sleepy myself, as we slept late the nite before to finish up packing.

Guess what?! It was Reyza's first trip by Airplane and the whole family first trip by fireflyz. Tapi kinda kesian that Reyza had to wake up wee early morning to catch the 640am flight. However, this lil cheeky kid no matter how sleepy he is, he would still force himself not to sleep as he wants to absorb his new surroundings. Clever boy.

Oh well. Let the pictures do some storytelling.

1st Zoo Visit!

Last Thursday, Abah and Mama did not go to work . I was confius but happy that they are there to play with me. We woke up late and 3 of us was rolling on the bed.I lurve to play rollie pollie. I happy.happy.happy.. After my Mama bath me, she had a discussion with Abah and decided to take me to the ZOo!!

Yeay! Zoo !!.. Eyh.. What is Zoo?

Hehehe. Who cares. I was out and about with Abah and Mama. I enjoyed more being 'dukung' by my abah. Probably, I enjoyed more if I could walk. Mama told abah that, they should bring me to the Zoo again but untill 3y.o. Because after that, the zoo will charge ticket for 3y.o and above. Hampehs la mama nie.

Reyza and the celebration of Tha Haj

Hari raya haji!!!! this is Reyza's second hari Raya, First Aidiladha, and the third time reyza gets to wear his baju melayu!!!

A full day from morning till afternoon, morning at Tok Mi's place playing with his cousins and then finally at Wan Ani's house meeting all his uncles, aunties and grand uncles and grand aunties :D

Reyza somehow doesn't like his cute songkok but abah will put it on his head from behind when Reyza is not watching :P

"Dukung"ed by almost everyone, Reyza looks sooo cute in his baju melayu johor and songkok tinggi...

Boys will be boys and my boy right here just loves cars. Often when reyza sits in the "shotgun" seat on his mama's lap, reyza would often have his eyes fixated on either the gear knob or.. the steering...thats right, abah's little monster nih dah tak sabar-sabar nak start driving. Everytime abah is left alone with reyza in the car while waiting for mama (while she gets some things at the shops) reyza would reach for the steering. Abah would put Reyza on his lap and reyza would get all excited turning the steering wheel and playing with the wipers and indicator light switches. Of course abah had to point his finger to reyza when ever any onlookers would look at him when ever reyza honked the horn or squirted some wiper water and the car would look like its gone crazy with the erratic lights, highbeam and indicator lights flashing.

So when Abah and Mama was walking around at the curve we saw this really cool (really really cool!!! thats what abah thought) steering wheel at at toystore....too bad that it was only available in pink...it could be attached to Reyza's stroller!!! yay!!! Abah put his name down and requested to be notified when the more masculine coloured steering would arrive.

In two weeks time surely enough abah got a phonecall from the toy store and abah and mama rushed to get it. While waiting for it to arrive, auntie Lita (abahs friend from the office) was kind enough to give us her sons older steering wheel. (her sons moving on to more advanced toys). SO now Reyza has two toy steering wheels (one for the stroller and one for the table top) actually 4 if you include the ones that came with his walker.

Reyza loves to drive his stroller arounf the shopping malls (at least he think's he is turning the stroller). He love to honk the horn at anyone thats in the way hehe. The more crowded the better reyza says. Abah would sometimes turing the stroller according to reyza's piloting skills, so the ride would be a bit topsy turvey. All in all its been so much fun both father and son :D

Well until you're about 18 years old (and proven yourself worthy) thats about all the driving you'll get reyza...so enjoy...

Reyza's first Information technology experience... I cant remember but I think Reyza typed (more like banged) on the keyboard "bmhbjnm" hehe :P. Reyza looked sooo serious...

I surely hope that by the time you are old enough to use the computer you would be surrounded by wonderful new technologies like Virtual Reality and 3D holographic displays...

Abah was born right smack in the video game revolution (google space invaders) and then spent my teens in era of the internet. I hope that you would find computers a fun,useful and important tool.

But remember...

No matter how technology advances, what matters most is how you make good use of it...

Dating with a Gurl

Last Sunday, my parents brought me to Pavillion. This was my second time here. I wasnt sure why am I here. All the shops here are expensive, not to mention not enough toy shops for me! hmmmph! Boring.

Oh, well. Once, we arrive I just slept in the stroller. I was soo tired. Suddenly, I heard some familiar voices.

When I opened my eyes, I was delighted to see it was unkel fricha and auntie yahh!! yayy!!. I miss my unkel fricha & antie yahh. Not to mention my gurl pal Rania...cute as ever :D

I played with Rania and unkel Fricha cuddled me. I think I was a good boy, careful not to make rania cry. We talked about growing up, our toys, and "mengumpat" our parents hehe

We should do this again! but perhaps me and Rania would prefer a place with more toy shops...

Reyza just turned 6 moths about 2 weeks ago, and he started on his solid food. Kesian dia coz kalau abah, mama and grandparents dia makan, reyza asyik tengok je menung. well now Reyza can finally join the club of solid food eaters (although its actually a mushy textured solid food haha)

Some advice for parents who are starting on solids,

1. It takes awhile for them to get adjusted to it, some purging is expected as the digestive system is warming up.
2. Let them try different flavours.
3. They love the airplane entering the cave routine haha

Member's Day Sale.

Oct 22, Jusco OU Member's Day Sale. I took leave in advance just in case my MIL wants to go. I thot probably, I could just take care of Reyza on that day. The night before, my MIL says she might not want to go as she has nothing to buy. I pun, alright. Morning-morning, as I sent Reyza to his grandma's and I thot I could go survey the sale myself. My MIL ask" Naz, Jusco , bukak pukul berapa?". "8, Ma". "Ye, ke?, Jum siap now, we go now". I'm like "Reyza, camna. Takkan tak mandi?" "Takpe, dia baby lagi, we just go first" said my MIL. That was like 730am. Bersemangat.Heheheh.. She's fickly funny. Summore she wants to bring her grandson along. Kena la ikut sekali.

Sale! Sale! Beli Semua! Buy! Buy!

The sale nuthin much. I just wanted to find out the cost for the walker. Its 30% off for members, amatlah menarik. Survey jugak harga mamypoko . (RM47.50, termurah as at Oct 22). Reyza was enjoyin his people watching wit me. Mind you, his excited to go to new places and see people running around. Tapi, bringing a baby or kids to a sale, sangat lah tidak digalakkan. I know a lot of parents have to bring their kids along probably due no baby sitter. Tapi , sangatlah kesian tengok anak itu diletak dalam trolley (kalau sorang , takpe). My entry here is not about the sale.

Its on grandparents.

I saw a lot of grandparents tagged along during the sale. Diaorang nie, Im not sure la wether they were excited to be there or wat. But I assume, they were drag there to jaga 'barang' or anak. The bench i was sitting on while waiting for my MIL was full with nenek & atuk. Semua either, pegang trolley or pegang cucu. Kesian... or ??

Saper tak mandi, angkat tangan!

IMHO , I would rather have my kids stay at home or I wouldnt have bother to go to a sale if it does not permits me to go. I wouldnt want to menyusahkan orang tua saya. Mungkin diaorang suka, tapi i saw this Chinese grandpa macam nak pengsan (jusco sesak and sempit). Shouldnt we as kids be considerate towards our parents? Murah sangat ke sale itu sampai nak kena bawak 'extra' orang nak jadi tukang jaga. The sale was full with adults, kids, baby, maids, etc. I think some parents even let their children to cut school for the day. Reason? Tolong jaga barang. (Yes , I heard 2-3 girls who had bumped into each other).

Adekah gila-gila sale di Malaysia, merosakkan etika kita ? Renungkanlah.....

Changing bottles.

After procastinating for to long , plus considering wether I have enuff budget to buy new sets of feeding bottle. Hubbs & me finally made our way to OU, Jusco last night to grab some BPA- Free bottles.I knew about this issue after I have finish my confinement.

However, at that time I have already bought several 4oz bottles to be used by Reyza. And now, since these bottles have shown some deterioration signs, I have to buy new bottles to replace the old ones. But in Malaysia, the selection itself is so limited. The nice looking ones cost a bomb for just one bottle! Mak takda duit. I mean, its for the best health for our kids but I think we should at least find other alternatives which suits our pocket. Takkan nak berhutang demi botol susu?

For those unfamiliar with BPA. A glossary from SafeMama - Bisphenol-A (Bis-fen-ol) - Bisphenol A (BPA) is a hormone-mimicking chemical used in polycarbonate plastic resins, epoxy resins, and other products. Bisphenol has estrogenic properties which, in animal tests has shown to cause a bevy of health problems such as an increase in prostate and breast cancer, uro-genital abnormalities in male babies, a decline in semen quality in men, early onset of puberty in girls, metabolic disorders including insulin-resistant (Type 2) diabetes and obesity and neurobehavioral problems such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Research is showing that when plastic containers, mostly those used to hold liquids and foods, are leeching Bisphenol into the foods and liquids they are holding. Heating food and liquids with these plastics is shown to increase the leeching of this contaminate.

Reyza's First Raya!!!

This year was Reyza's first Hari Raya, and reyza went to many places. Mama and Abah took reyza to Tok Di and Tok Mi's house early in the morning, later we wentt and fetched Tok Ki and Wanani at KLIA. by the end of the 5th day of Raya, Reyza has been from Gombak and all the way to Nilai visiting his other grand uncles and aunties.

It was quite tiring and reyza slept when ever he was in the car.

Reyza collected quite a lot of angpows for himself too :D

My Chubby Wubby

Fuh! This blog has not been updated for quite sometime. Nak kata, we got no stories, ada. We're the typical procastinator and I'm quite occupied at night with Reyza whilst in the morning I have to work. (yes, I have work to do)

Or probably, I feel nothing interesting to share to the people out there. Not that I think ppl care pun, because this blog is mainly a Journal for my family. Esok besar, when Reyza dah pandai baca boleh la dia tengok balik how he grew up. (or where his parents started to screw him up, hehehehe).

Anyway, semalam is 916. No, its not the anwar thingy. Reyza turned 5 months !! Huwaarrgh! He has learnt and grasp a few new things this past couple of weeks. (we're so happy!) Despite his crankiness in between (probably due to "nak berubah bulan" or his turning older and gain new 'akal').

Walaupun dia sedang membesar dengan Giantnyer, his neck is finally strong enough that he nows wants to 'bangun' on his own. I notice this last Sunday when I woke up, he woke up too. I played with him and tried to pull him upwards towards me. He did it flawlessly and was smiling and giggling. Cair. I laff histerically. Sangatlah happy. Abahnya ingat I gila, pagi-pagi gelak sorang2 dalam bilik. (Abah nowdays sleeps on the couch, as Reyza insist to sleep under his mama's ketiak.) Abah, also getting jealous of the attention given MORE to Reyza. What to do, he's damn adorable. (Abah, your in a whole different chart system, ngeeeh! You know I lOVE you. hehehehe)

I'm just enjoying the days playing with him after work. I can't wait for him to grow a bit bigger, than I could bring him everywhere!

For the past 2 months, Reyza reach almost all of the milestones.

At 4 months, can
- Smiles , laff , bears weight on his leg (standing), reponding with cute sounds when we talk to him, plays bubble in his mouth

At 4months and a half, he can
-grasp a toy , bolster or anything near him, able to rollover from back to tummy one way, could be seen looking at bold colors that interest him, his neck stronger

At 5 months now, he currently can
- play with his hand and feet (quite difficult when nappy changing & bath), Recognize his name and will turn when call (most of the time), could be put in a walker (offcourse with support of his bantals & not walking yet)

Somehow, this morning he showed some separation anxiety (this is considered advance skill but I dont really like this skill). He finished drinking his milk with his Abah attending to him. After that, he was a bit restless. He didnt want to be put in cot, rocker or even be carried by his Abah. But, when I carried him. He stayed quiet.

Not a good sign. Hopefully, he would be flexible this couple of weeks. Reyza's bibik gone back to Indonesia this morning. His grandma would need to take care of him for this next 6 working days. Than, I need to take care of him or partially when his grandma goes to Bangkok next week. I don't have anymore cuti left. Kesian kan? Those new mommies-to-be yang working tuh, simpan la cuti byk2 kalau boleh. Nanti emergency senang nak pakai.

My First Road Trip

It was my first trip to Penang. I dont know what is Penang. All I know that I was packed with my Rubber Duckey Bath Tub and Ti-Ger. My Unkel Toge join the Road Trip too! I played for a while (mama sed I play for 1 hour only) than I started to kick a fuss. I dont know maybe its just me, when Im tooo hungry and sleepy I just CrYyyyyyyyyyyYYy than Drinnnkkkk and than I sleep!

Open my eyes and I saw Penang Komtar, yeah we are here! (I know we're there becoz Mama was excited & pissed at the same time - she sed something about not able to see Penang Bridge when we arrive - its her ritual (what is ritual abah?)). While Abah and Unkel Toge was arguing on the road signs. I think we were goin round and round the Penang Komtar! Heheheh. Anyway, we found the hotel, finally. I get to golek2 on the bed & watch TV on my comfy chair. If this is Penang, than this is LIFE .

This is the life (its my everyday life till i get my kaki)

We went out for dinner (oh yea, my unkel bob was with Us too!) My Abah said that, Mama was craving for Char Kuey Tiaw Penang IN Penang when she was pregnant with me. However, due to time and my bloating Mama. Abah couldnt bring her here. So, after one year she finally could eat her fav Char Kuey Tiaw.

Kesian mama. At least she gets to eat it. After dinns, my Abah sent me and Mama back to the hotel. Mama sez its not the time yet to bring me sightseeing at night at Batu Feringghi. I have no problem with that Mama (for Now). I'm happy that I could guling-guling with Mama sambil tengok Big Bang Boom and then I Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Plus, my Mama is already happy with her Mission, accomplished by my Abah.

The next day, Abah and Mama was packing up my stuff and check us out from the hotel. I visited my other unkels in the next room, I thought I could play with them first however, I had to go off early to go to Unkel bobs house and meet my Grandma Angkat. Heheheh. I got soooo many grandma..Saya Suka!! Didnt get to take picture though. Mama & Abah seems to be in a hurry.

I was sleepy on the way to somewhere.... not to mention hungry too. I slept for a bit and suddenly I woke Up, My Mama was gone! Where's Abah?? When did I changed?

Hehhee, Eh? We were attending the wedding of Unkel Mawi & Antie Deb.. and Antie Mimi was holding me.

Mama, I want a hot wife like her (eh, mama pun hot wife 2 be too,hehehe)

I think we were there for a while only because I felt nauseous and I puke on Abah!. My Mama suggested to Abah that it was time to head home. Yes, Home.. I want to go home Abah!

We went off, & offcourse I slept on the way home too . ( to my Mama's delight).

My hubby & I look forward to go home, everyday to tuck in Reyza. Its so cute to see his chubby face, pouting his lips in order to get attention of his mom that he wants mommy's milk.

And everynight he falls asleep after his feedings (thats why he is getting chubby) in my arms and I slowly put him in his cot to sleep.

Its quite a theraphy to see him sleep soundly.He is the best gift, GOD could give. We cherish every funny moment, faces that he makes. He turned 4 months last month.... How time fly's. Sweet Dreams, kecik.

Reyza is gonna be a wizard

It happened one night when reyza was sleeping, He came with the wind but silent as night. As he emerged standing tall beside reyza's cot, a dark shadow over looking reyza's face. It was he who must not be named, it was voldemort. As fearsome as he looked, reyza was unphased, he kept on smiling and smirking. And just as voldemort was about to lay a finger on Reyza, a blinding white light sparked brightly, enough to drive voldemort away. But not, without leaving a scar on Reyza's forehead...

Sounds familiar?? hehehe looks like Reyza got himself a scar just like harry potter's although by his own doing and not some evil darklord. If there was any school that I would like to send Reyza to then it would be Hogwarts hehehe but I guess thats far from becoming a reality. Maybe he might get a chance to study abroad.

I hope that when he reads this, Reyza would have seen the harry potter DVD's that his auntie Ya has.

Yesterday, my son rolled over on his own (he lay on his back & roll to the front).

I was not there.

I heard he took time to rolled over. First, he rolled to the side. Than he took his own sweet time laying on his side. Than he finishes his rolling and pushed his head up (as re-enactment by my MIL).

Anyhow, Im AM HAPPY that Reyza reaches his milestone one at a time. Mama Lap U kecik.

Aunties and uncles in da house

It was just like any other night as usual while I was coming home from grandma wanani's house, mama carried me and abah drove us home, carried my stuff, and opened the house door.

When he opened the door, suddenly there was a loud yell..."SURPRISE!!!". I saw abah's face, and boy was he shocked, hehehe at first he was scared and then he laughed and smiled. Mama was surprisingly calm and just snickered.

When we came in our house, all my uncles and aunties were there. Apparently it was a susprise birthday party for papa and mama was the mastermind behind all of it.

Mum made nasi minyak and ayam gulai...boy it looked delicious(too bad I can take any solid foods yet). There was also cake and jelly. Everyone had a good time eating and talking. I had fun too when some of the uncles and aunties carried me and played with me.

Im sure papa was delighted and wishes to thank everyone that came :

~Olympic Fever~

We all know that the Olympics will commence on 08.08.08. And as a Malaysian I am proud of my fellow Malaysian's who would be representing our country.

And I am EVEN PROUD'ER that my collection is completed within 6 days. I ate 4 out of 6 meals and my hubby and good friend "toge" help to eat 1 meal each.

I guess its normal where once we become a parent, our spending habit changes (we spend alot on the baby!). And lately, a new hobby of mine is to checkout Warehouse Sales of any items that is really really cheap and could actually save us money.

Found this 1 day Warehouse sale last week. I was contemplating wether its worth it to buy as some review insist that its not cheap cheap. But again, Reyza uses it like everyday and I thought what the heck, I could just check it out and probably buy a couple of packs.

Once, I got there the crowd and queue was Sooo LoooOnnng. Hadoi. (mind you, its a first time for me to checkout Warehouses Sales & I went there alone!). I was watching groups of people leaving with 5-10 bags or 5 - 10 boxes of the stocks.

I was "itchy" how many should I buy?? If they are buying in bulks probably it is cheap. Once I got to the counter (after queing up for 40mins) some lady "groups" chose to stay at the counter to order more and more of the stocks and single people like me got no chance to budge it. I heard they also ordering for their friends ,family. Banyaknye order!

Ku tak tahan. I quickly wrote my order and pass it to the order-taking-person. When I saw my order-taking person carrying the stocks, I felt a bit excited. Gembira pulak tiba-tiba. I went off carrying 4 huge plastic bag all by myself. Others look at me like I'm a crazy person "angkat barang berat sorang-sorang". Pedulik ajer.

In the end, I was happy. By the time I left at 12:15pm, the stocks was almost gone (and I read the review, it was sold out ).

I'm a happy mommy. I don't know wether I saved much, but I kinda love to know that I wont go tru any days that I would run out of these...

Hahahhaha....Gila wei angkat 12 pack of Diapers.. Heheheheheh

Tiring Weekend!

It was an exciting (yet tiring) weekend. Hubby & me was 'teruja' to bring out our son to the shopping mall . The first time we brought him out was 2 weeks ago after the doctors visit.We went to the C*rve as it was only 5 minutes away from home. Reyza was a 'good' boy the whole time, however after being there for about 2 hours , he was already showing signs of restless'ness' (he can't sleep in the stroller). We went home straight after I bought him this statement-T from Mothe*Care. Hensem anak Abah ni!

Than last Saturday , we went to Sunway Pyramid (joined by Yahh + Hubby + Baby Rania). If was quite exciting day out for the parents ( and the babies as well? :) ) . I guess being a young family we tend to be scared to 'lepak' by ourselves with the baby. (I know I am) . But having another couple joining in the outing makes us feel secure and it helps that we know we have an extra (2) pair(s) of hands if we need 'em. Plus, we need to 'biasakan' Reyza with these sorta outings as his parents are 'kaki' lepak. *Sigh*

But overall. Reyza ni anak yang baik dan comel, but who knows if he would be mischievious boy later. Budak ni dah banyak akal sekarang. Kui Kui Kui.

His only current problem now is sleeping in his stroller. He is used to fall asleep on his grandma's/grandpa's/mama's/abah's shoulder. After that, we will put him into his cot or his 'buai'. But this is not possible if we are out. Even our outing to MV & Gard*ns on Sunday, he fell asleep on his abah's shoulder. We tried to put him into his stroller after that but it only lasted for 5 minutes! Kesian anak mama nie. He didnt sleep after that. Anyone has a solution for it? He also does not like to sleep on his back. We tried to a thousand times. He just wont sleep. He will lay on his back if he is playing only. . How ah??

We went to KLCC on Monday night. Abah is "itchy". He got some news on his favourite toy. He couldnt believe his ears. He had to go there and see it himself.

I am 3 months...

Gawsh.. Its 3 months already? I look quite big (or chubby) for my age. Last Sunday, my parents brought me to see Dr. Altaff.I loike this Dr.. He could explain every question my parents asked him.

He says I am fine and informed my parents that I am actually quite sensitve towards heat (this explains my not so smooth complexion, but hei, im still Cute!). I suceeded in giving myself a head-scar - 3 times!! Tambah macho sikit (Lucky,I'm a boy, if not jatuh SAHAM).

The Doc still hears the murmur sound, but quite faint. He says probably it would go away later(I hope this will go away too) and I now weight about 7 kilos!! Crazzzy!

No wonder I see my mama kept 'urut-urut' her bahu (Sorry Mama, but I love you)

My Name is Reyza ...... Reyza Khan

16th April 2008.

Reyza Khan decided to get me operated earlier than scheduled (19th April) . He was pulled out at 22.02pm and was weight at 3.6kg. I wondered to myself at the OT table, if this was a Normal Delivery, could I have handle it as good as the Ceasarean Op. (Reyza was breeched , and I watched the operation throughout the time. Macam tengok Discovery Channel pulak)

It wasnt over yet, he needs to be warded to the Intensive Care. Before he was whisked away, the docs showed him to me." Ma'am please check, its a boy." I didnt quite understand what the doc wanted me to do, I just look at his 'lil * and told myself. Yes, he IS a BOY! and gave a nod to the doc. I even sempat counted his 10 lil comel toes.

Back to baby Reyza, he was breathing very fast and it was a concern to the peadeatrics. It didnt stop there, he was also put into the N.I.C.U for a day. He was vomitting, doctor heard a 'murmur', he had a slight jaundice . The hardest thing for me & hubby was to see him inside the incubator. He is quite a big baby to be put into the incubator. Felt 'kesian' for him.

After I.C, Reyza was than transferred to the Peads Ward . The docs, just wanted to monitor his murmur for another night (mind you, he has stayed in HKL almost a week). What the heck its only 1 night, I thought wrong...

The following morning, he look "yellow". Gawd. He got jaundiced (I thot this jaundice is over). He was still being 'tahan' by the doctor for another night. It was quite difficult for me, emotionally & mentally. Even my hubby was trying his best to make me happy. The following day, no good news from the doctor. Reyza blood test doesnt show good signs. I had enough.

I talk to the doctors & my hubby. We then decided to transfer him to DSH to get his jaundiced monitored. It was quite difficult decision as it was a first timer for hubby and me to make decision for our lil son and we are not sure wether we are making the right one. However, with my condition of having a c-sec op and unable to care even for myself. We have to bring him out. Closer to home, or at least to bring him to an 'unstressful' environment.
